GENERAL QUESTIONS
A kite safari is a unique kitesurfing adventure aboard a motor yacht, typically lasting one week (Saturday to Saturday). Unlike regular kite holidays, a kite safari allows you to reach the most remote and wind-reliable spots in Egypt’s Red Sea, far from crowded beaches.
We don’t launch kites from the boat—instead, we set up directly on beautiful sandbanks and islands, offering safer and more comfortable sessions. Thanks to the location in the middle of the sea, the wind is usually stronger and more consistent than onshore.
It’s more than just kiting—it’s a full-on experience. The boat becomes your floating hotel, where you’ll sleep, eat, chill, and party with fellow kiters. And yes, there’s a LOT of kitesurfing, because when you’re out there... there’s really not much else to do but ride!
Our kite cruises in Egypt range from €1,000 to €1,200, depending on the type of cabin you choose. This price includes a full week on a premium Red Sea yacht, with all the essentials for an unforgettable kitesurfing experience.
While some kite safari companies charge over €1,500 per trip, we believe in offering great value without unnecessary luxury extras. Sure, some boats come with jacuzzis or saunas—but for us, what really matters is:
A high-standard, comfortable boat
An experienced and reliable crew
Great food, smooth logistics, and world-class kite spots
We focus on what truly enhances your trip, not on flashy features you won’t use. That’s why we keep our prices in the €1,000–€1,200 range—fair, honest, and all about the kiting.
For most travelers, entry into Egypt is simple and hassle-free. Upon arrival at the airport, you can get a Tourist Visa on the spot for $25 USD—no paperwork or pre-approval required.
✈️ Tourist Visa on Arrival
Cost: $25 USD
Valid for 30 days
Available at all major airports in Egypt
🌍 Important: Some nationalities may need to apply for an e-Visa in advance. It’s best to check the official Egyptian visa website or contact your local embassy to confirm based on your passport.
You have 48 hours after arriving in Egypt to visit a duty-free shop and purchase imported alcoholic beverages. This is the best time to stock up on your favorite spirits or wines if you prefer international brands.
🍷 What’s Available Onboard:
On the boat, we serve a selection of Egyptian alcohol, including:
Egyptian wines – surprisingly decent
Egyptian beers – actually quite good
Egyptian vodka, rum, and tequila – let’s just say… drinkable 😄
🥂 Bringing Your Own:
Want something specific? No problem! You’re welcome to bring your own alcohol on board. Just make sure to buy it at duty-free within the 48-hour window after landing.
While Egypt is a Muslim country, tourist areas—especially on the Red Sea and during kite safaris—are very relaxed about clothing. Locals are used to seeing international visitors, so you’re free to dress however you feel comfortable, especially on the boat and at the beach.
👙 Swimwear & beachwear are totally fine on the yacht and on kite spots.
🩳 Shorts, tank tops, bikinis—no problem in tourist zones.
🧥 If you plan to explore local towns or visit mosques, it’s respectful to dress more modestly: cover shoulders and knees.
For the kite safari, bring light, breathable clothes, sun protection, and something warm for the evenings, especially outside summer months.
To ensure a smooth and well-organized kite safari experience, we require a €300 deposit per passenger when booking your trip. This helps us prepare the boat, organize logistics, and ensure that we have enough space for everyone on board.
💡 Why Book in Advance?
Boat Preparation: Knowing the number of passengers in advance allows us to prepare the boat accordingly.
Kitesurfing Lessons: For those planning to take lessons, booking early helps us organize instructors and equipment to ensure the best possible experience.
The deposit is fully refundable if you need to cancel according to our cancellation policy.
We work with international travel agencies to make your booking process as smooth as possible. All we need is a copy of your passport to handle the necessary bookings—no stress, no paperwork required.

Thanks to the Starlink system developed by SpaceX, we offer fast and reliable internet throughout your kite safari in the Red Sea. Stay connected wherever you are on the boat, with perfect connection, even in the middle of the sea.
📶 What You Can Expect:
Seamless connection for YouTube videos, video calls, and browsing.
Reliable coverage even while we’re far from shore.
Perfect for staying in touch with friends and family or working remotely.
🌍 High Capacity: With over 20 people connected at the same time on the boat, the Starlink system ensures consistent speed for all onboard.
🦟 No Worries About Insects:
While we’re out at sea, you can forget about pesky insects—there are no problems with bugs of any kind on the boat.
🌍 On Land:
When we’re on land, the number of insects is similar to what you would expect during a summer in Europe. Mosquitoes and other bugs are not an issue, but if you're concerned, feel free to bring some insect repellent.
No, we have those on board.
👟 For Beginners and Students:
Watershoes are necessary for those just starting out with kitesurfing or still learning. This will help protect your feet from potential coral reefs or stones along the shore.
🏄♂️ For Intermediate and Advanced Kiters:
If you're an experienced kiter, watershoes are not required. The beaches are mostly sandy, and you'll be able to navigate easily without them. However, there may be the occasional coral or rocks, but experienced kiters usually have no issues.
We are proud to be probably the only company in the Red Sea that includes kitesurfing lessons in the price of the cruise. This is why we call our kite safaris Kite Camps – because our focus is on progression for every kiter, from beginners to advanced.
Whether you’re just starting your kiteboarding adventure or looking to improve your skills, we’ve got you covered. We believe in helping every guest progress at their own pace in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
Our kite safaris aren’t just for kiters! We always have a mix of kiters and non-kiters on board, and we’ve got plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Whether you’re into wakeboarding, snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, or simply relaxing in the water, there’s something for everyone.
🏖️ Kite Spots & Beaches:
The beaches where we kite are stunning, and non-kiters are always welcome to join us at the kite spot. Enjoy a drink, take a swim, or just soak in the beautiful surroundings.
🚤 Relax on the Boat:
Our boat is the perfect place to relax, whether you want to read a book, listen to music, or even work—thanks to our Starlink satellite system. There’s always space for everyone to unwind in comfort.
🌅 Evening Together:
After 6 pm, everyone—kiters and non-kiters—gathers to enjoy each other's company, share stories, and have fun together on board.
