THE KITESURFING DAY – MORNING TO EVENING
Here’s a glimpse into a classic day on board during one of our unforgettable kitesurfing cruises in Egypt with Fantasia Cruising Tour — from sunrise sessions to sunset sails, it’s all about wind, water, and good vibes.
6:00 – Wake up
we wake up for a quick coffee and a snack and we head to the beach for our first early morning session. This session (like every other session on our kite safaris) it’s obviously optional – feel free to sleep a little longer and to join us after breakfast on the beach. We will kite till 8 and head back to the boat for a well deserved breakfast.
8:00-9:00 – Breakfast
After breakfast, we head back to the beach for a longer kite session. This time, both riders and students join in — with lessons running alongside freeride fun. Feeling tired? Just hop on one of our rescue boats back to the yacht. At 12:30, we return onboard for a freshly prepared lunch and some well-earned rest.
12:30-13:30 – Lunch
In the afternoon, everyone heads back to the beach for another exciting kitesurfing session — perfect for practicing new skills or simply enjoying the wind and waves.
Unwind on the upper deck with a refreshing drink and good music — the perfect way to relax before dinner under the Red Sea sky.
Of course, no two days are exactly the same — this is a kitesurfing adventure, and you're at the heart of it. Each day is shaped together, depending on the wind, our energy, and the vibe of the group.
HOW A KITE SAFARI WORKS
Arrive on Saturday at Hurghada Marina — the yacht opens at midday, and we spend the night docked. Sunday morning we set sail for the first kite spot and cruise to the best islands and lagoons, depending on wind conditions. After morning kitesurfing, enjoy a delicious lunch and extra kiting in the afternoon, or relax on deck.
Each day we explore new locations, including one downwind trip. Kitesurfing lessons are included, with progression guaranteed for beginners or advanced riders. You can also enjoy diving, snorkeling, and wakeboarding.
On Friday afternoon, we return for a final night onboard, with free time to explore Hurghada before departing Saturday.
KITE CRUISE DAY BY DAY

Day 1 – Arrival in Hurghada
Welcome to Hurghada International Airport! One of our team members will meet you and transfer you directly to the marina. After meeting the crew and settling into your private cabin aboard our luxury yacht, we’ll enjoy dinner on board. If energy allows, we might head out for a quick drink in town. First night is spent docked at Hurghada Marina.
Day 2 – First Kite Spot: Abu Mungar
We set sail early while you enjoy breakfast. Our first stop is Abu Mungar, a sandy strip perfect for your first session of the week. After a morning ride, we return to the yacht for lunch. The afternoon brings more kiting — or relaxation on deck if you prefer. After sunset, we’ll gather for dinner and drinks. Overnight at Abu Mungar.
Day 3 – Sunrise Session + Tawila Island
For the early risers, we offer a sunrise kite session before breakfast — peaceful, wind-filled, and unforgettable. Afterward, we cruise to Tawila Island, one of the Red Sea’s most iconic kite spots. We’ll have a midday session before lunch, then enjoy the full day and night here. In the evening, try your hand at squid fishing, or join our video review session for tips and progression. Overnight at Tawila.
Day 4 – Full Day in Tawila
A full day of riding, lessons, and enjoying this kitesurfing paradise. Advanced riders can push limits, while beginners benefit from calmer areas and coaching. Sunset drinks and another night onboard in Tawila.
Day 5 – Off to Geisum Island
After breakfast, we cruise to Geisum, a remote and beautiful island with great kite conditions. Evening beach party and overnight in Geisum.
Day 6 – Downwinder from Ashrafi to Geisum
Wake up early for a 2-hour downwinder starting from Ashrafi — a highlight of the trip! For those who prefer to stay local, Geisum offers excellent riding all day. Overnight again at Geisum.
Day 7 – Last Kite Day + Return to Hurghada
We make the most of the morning wind with an early beach session. After lunch, we cruise back to Hurghada Marina. Enjoy a final dinner onboard, then head into town for a last night out in Hurghada or El Gouna.
Day 8 – Departure Day
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye. Transfers to the airport will be arranged based on your flight time. Optional extra kiting or beach chill-out if your flight is later.

This itinerary is our base plan — but wind rules the Red Sea. We’ll adapt daily based on the best forecast to ensure maximum time on the water. Luckily, the wind is stronger offshore, and our route gives us a high chance of great conditions.

Once you’re ready to join, we’ll send you an invoice for a 300€ deposit to secure your spot. The remaining balance can be paid in cash on arrival or via bank transfer up to 2 weeks before departure.
🎒 Do I Need to Bring My Kite Pump?
No need! We use diving tanks onboard to inflate kites — super fast and efficient. You’ll love how practical it is.
📶 Is There Wi-Fi on Board?
Yes — and it’s excellent! Our yachts are equipped with Starlink satellite internet, developed by SpaceX. Expect strong, stable Wi-Fi across the entire Red Sea, supporting video calls, streaming, and multiple users connected at the same time.
✈️ I Arrive Late at Night. Is That a Problem?
Not at all. Just let us know your arrival time, and we’ll arrange your transfer from Hurghada Airport to the yacht — even for late-night arrivals. Your room will be ready for you when you board.

Yes — we provide fresh bed linens and towels for all guests. No need to bring your own unless you prefer to.

Yes, but it’s simple — most nationalities can get a tourist visa on arrival at Hurghada Airport for $25 or the equivalent in Euros. When asked for an address, just write the name of the yacht and Hurghada Marina.
🎈 Which Kites Should I Bring?
Wind in Egypt can range from light breezes (10 knots) to strong wind days (30+ knots). We’ll share the latest forecast with you a few days before departure so you can pack the right kite sizes.
🧘 Can I Bring a Non-Kiter? Will They Be Bored?
